Connecting your wallet

Connecting is easy
Once you are ready to trade your tokens, you need to connect your wallet to Swych. Connecting your wallet is easy and only takes a few clicks.
Ensure you are only connecting to Swych.Finance, as any other variations, is NOT the authentic Swych website.

Metamask is available on both Mobile and Desktop versions. Due to this, different ways to connect your wallet depending on your device. This guide will be for mobile connections.

Setting up network

  1. 1.
    Open Metamask and select the "Wallet" text on the top of the screen.
  2. 2.
    Once you have selected the wallet option, choose "Add a network."
  3. 3.
    After selecting "Add a network," you can choose the "BNB Smart Chain" option.
If you don't see BNB Smart Chain as an option in Step 3, you can select "Custom Network" and fill in the information below: Network Name: BNB Smart Chain RPC Url: https://bsc-dataseed.binance.org Chain ID: 56 Symbol: BNB Block Explorer URL: http://bscscan.com

Connecting Wallet

Now that we have our network, we can connect the wallet.
  1. 1.
    First, select the menu option in the top left.
  2. 2.
    After this, select "Browser" and type in Swych.Finance.
  3. 3.
    Once you are on the Swych website, you will be prompted to connect. If not, select "connect" to get your wallet connected.
Metamask also offers the Desktop version, which allows for more connection types. Let's look at how you can set up and connect your wallet.

Setting up network

  1. 1.
    Select the Metamask application from your browser or desktop, log in, and choose the "Ethereum Mainnet" option at the top.
  2. 2.
    Select "Add Network" at the bottom.
  3. 3.
    You will be greeted with a page to enter the network information for BSC; enter the information below. Once complete, select save.

Connecting Wallet

Now that we have our network, we can connect the wallet.
  1. 1.
    Go and visit the Swych.Finance website and select the "connect" option.
  2. 2.
    When prompted to connect, select the Metamask option; once done, you are connected!
Trust wallet primarily uses your mobile device to connect but can also use Wallet Connect QR codes on a desktop. Let's see how to connect and setup!

Connecting Wallet (Mobile)

  1. 1.
    Open your Trust Wallet app and select the "browser" option from the bottom menu.
  2. 2.
    Within the browser, navigate to Swych.Finance.
  3. 3.
    When prompted to connect, select the "more" option, choose Trust, and you are connected!

Desktop QR Code

Sometimes when using Trust wallet, you may want to connect using your computer. To do so is quite simple.
  1. 1.
    Visit the Swych website and select the "connect" option. When prompted to choose a wallet, select "wallet connect."
  2. 2.
    After selecting this option, you will be presented with a QR code, as seen in the example below.
  3. 3.
    Now from your mobile device and within the Trust wallet app, select Settings.
  4. 4.
    Choose "Scan QR Code" and use your mobile device to scan the QR code from the website.
    Just like that, you are connected to Swych!
SafePal is available as both a software and hardware wallet. These will be the steps using the mobile application to connect your wallet.

Connecting Wallet

  1. 1.
    Tap the 4 squares icon button on the bottom of the main screen.
  2. 2.
    After doing so, the browser will open up and go to Swych.Finance. After doing so, the website will prompt you to connect your wallet. If not, select the "connect" option and choose "Safepal."
You may be prompted with an alert for a third-party DApp, select continue. Please make sure. However, ensure you are visiting only the official Swych website, as connecting to the wrong website could have an irreversible loss.
